Optimising MOCVD/ALD growth of Oxides Nanostructures for solar photon conversion by combining modeling and in situ synchrotron X-ray and optical analysis

 

 

 

OBJECTIVES, ORIGINALITY AND NOVELTY OF THE PROJECT

 

Our project for the period 2011 – 2015 aims at improving the basic knowledge of the nucleation process of oxide-based NWs and NGs in thin films that should result in a breakthrough technology in the field of materials for energy.

 

The purpose is to investigate in situ the nucleation mechanisms within a specific growth chamber dedicated to metal-organic chemical vapor deposition and metal-organic atomic layer deposition,
